Grandchester QLD 4340, home to beautiful acreage and views. We had the privilege recently of not only taking in the scenery but restoring some life back into a wooden pool deck in Grandchester. Some interesting facts about wood decks are that they require yearly maintenence and if not maintained require a restoration work as wood exposure leads to mould and rott. Yearly maintenence will always be cheaper in cost than a Restoration! Maintenence is normally done first with a light sand, then a wood oil (can pick stain colours) is carefully applied to each wooden part ensuring complete coverage which protects the wood over the following 12 months. Pool Decks in particular get an extra special addition every 12 months of P4, which is a non slip grip additive to help in the safety of all those who enter and exit the pool.
